Eye In The Sky
You were built with passion and ingenuity. You’ve lasted a century, and you’ve made us smarter. From your view, the world could be seen. Every cloud, every natural wonder, every mountain, and every country, is at your feet as you fly high above in the sky.
You are just a century old. Flying high in the sky was only a dream until your fathers built you in 1903. The Wright brothers found your power and infancy. It did not take long before people caught on to your majestic abilities.
There have been all kinds of tests of your power ever since. Whether it is a flight over the oceans or around the world, you have proven you can beat the odds. You allow men and women to guide your steady prowess, as you show off what you can do. Then, you proved you could carry more than just one or two people.
You gave us access to vacations. Before you, it was going and never return. Your speed makes new places easier to come to. People have forgotten how new you are in this world because of your perfection.
The flow of your passion rings around us as people board your superiority. All the cargo and bodies feel your excitement coming on board, one by one. The pilot boards, ready to direct you to where to go. The Stewards and Stewardesses wait, to teach your ways. They make sure to let people know what would happen, in the worst case scenario. But anybody knows, you are far safer than any other voyage people may take.
Society may have forgotten how new and marvelous you are in this day-in-age, but that is just because you are so reliable. You take us where we need to, making for millions of us in the sky at once. You have proven your usefulness and importance time and again. But, I know, I will try never stopping of being in awe, when you take off that runway and show me the eye in the sky.
