Coffee House Writers’ Poetry Editors are our dedicated poets who have exhibited proficient knowledge and skill in the art of poetry, editing, communication, compassion, and navigating our platform. Each Poetry Editor can be assigned up to 15 of our poets to manage and assist with their remote publishing journey while at Coffee House Writers while providing priceless feedback and suggestion on all work submitted to us. They assist our poets in a mentorship, helping them better their poems as well as aiding in poetry contests and providing weekly challenges.

Verona Jones

Verona Jones is a paranormal enthusiast and a horror writer who writes under the pseudonym V.L. Jones. She grew up in a haunted house in Washington state, which fueled her passion for the supernatural and monsters. V.L now lives in Casa Grande, Arizona, where she uses her home base to explore haunted sites with a history.

Her explorations fuel her imagination, and she writes horror stories with elements of urban legends, cryptids, and folklore blended in. V.L. loves anything about cryptids such as Bigfoot, the Ozark Howler, the black dog, and the Mothman, to name a few. V, L. also loves the paranormal and supernatural worlds. As her schedule permits, you will find her plotting the next trip to a paranormal hotspot.

She furthered her education at the University of Arizona Global Campus to work on improving her writing skills. V.L earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English and Creative Writing. She went on to earn a Master of Arts degree in English and Creative Writing, where she focused on fiction writing. Now, she is working on her Master of Fine Arts in Creative Writing and is focusing on fiction and professional writing.
