A Tale of Two Sisters: Chapter II

Part I can be found here.

I woke up back in my bedroom with the starlight streaming on my face. I used two fingers to massage my temple to soothe the sharp pain in my skull. I swung  my legs over the bed surprised that I didn’t need to use an arm to support myself as I sat up. How did I get here? I looked down at my purple silk slip that reached slightly past my hips. My hair was already wrapped up in a matching silk cap. I walked over to my closet and saw my suit already hanging up. Did Headmistress roofie me? She hated when students go into her private stash, but she wouldn’t roofie them because she would put herself at risk. Then I noticed the red leather folder on the nightstand by my bed.

You will join the prince and your sister. The constant echo of Headmistresses’ voice played in my head. My sister Princess Tapeesa of Neptune, who I hadn’t  seen outside of a television screen since we supposedly shared a womb.  Headmistress always told me when I was called into the office over the years for the reckless behavior that my aunt and uncle sent me here so the kingdom had at least one princess who could fight in the event that something tragic happened to Tapeesa.

I called this excuse a load of space junk because if that was true I would be breaking the heart of Prince Taiki. I would ride that boy for an entire rotation of Venus. He wouldn’t even remember where he was let alone that he was engaged to a blonde bombshell whose mind was the only thing on her body that is bigger than her chest.

I shook my head to get rid of thoughts of Prince Taiki, and Princess Reinette naked as she straddled his waist while he drove  himself inside her again and again. A smile on her face as she thought about how fortunate she is to have Taiki as her future husband. I grabbed my bow from above my bed as I heard the door creak open, loaded my arrow, and pointed it toward the door. One arrow in the heart and this intruder was stardust. I lowered my bow as I saw a tall man with dark skin, and dark brown eyes smile at me with his shiny white teeth. He had a long face with a strong chin covered with dark stubble that I couldn’t wait to nibble. His hair was tied back in a large bun at the top of his head. He was wearing a grey shirt with no sleeves so I could see his large muscles move as he carried in a large silver tray with three large rounded silver domes over each of the three plates.

“Chef sends his regards, and said he hopes you feel better soon.”

I smiled and tried to ignore the hurt I felt towards his son. Theo’s parents had offered their services years ago as payment for Theo’s admission to the school after they were kicked out of the palace for allegedly aiding an enemy against the crown. However, this enemy was eight years old, millions of kilometers away from home, and cast out by his family. His Majesty wasn’t the most pleasant person to be around. If I was in Prince Taiki’s position, I would poison your soup too. Unfortunately for His Majesty his daughter threw herself on the guards in order to stop them from taking her friend away. The young prince stayed. Theo’s family was forced to leave the palace, and sought refuge at the school.

“Trouble in paradise?” Tassos asked, forcing my attention back to the present as he sat in front of me as he massaged my shoulders.

I rolled my eyes. “You never answered my question, so I don’t have to answer yours.”

He large hands moved down to my chest, and he squeezed my breasts playfully, “I’m your partner on the mission. I came through the portal. I offered to take care of you. The medics said you were fine so it has to be trouble with Theo,” he said while he played with the edge of my nightgown, as he rubbed the soft material between his thumb and forefinger.

“He has a girlfriend now,” I said as I took off his shirt, and ran my hands down his well-sculpted abs. I really needed to get the trainers more thank you gifts.

Tassos leaned back a little, his brows knitted together, “Theo? As in your neighbor?” He kissed my neck heatedly, as he lowered himself on top of me. I unbuttoned his pants.

“Yep,” I said, not bothering to take off his black silk boxers as I put my hands down his pants, stroking him, and I smiled as I felt him harden in my hands.

“Maybe he got tired of being a spectator. Who is it?” he asked, pecking my lips in between his words as I moved my hands as I felt his hips grind against mine.
