AT LEAST I C.A.M.E.

Christmas,
Ash Wednesday,
Mother’s Day,
Easter,
the four days a year
you come to church.
The four days a year
you proclaim your love,
of God.
And
the fact you are a Christian.
Won’t have anything
to do with God’s House
if
it’s not these
four
days.
Then
have the gall
to say
At least I C.A.M.E.
Is your faith
that shallow?
Oh My God,
curse his name,
then fall
on your knees cause
you C.A.M.E.
Christmas,
shows your respect
to Jesus and his birth.
Ash Wednesday,
your faith
is floundering
your looking
for a spiritual connection.
Mother’s Day,
simply
you respect your mother
and
you know
she raised you better
than you act.
Easter,
your trying
to renew your spirit
but
you just want to flash
how cute your family looks.
Thing is, God,
CAME,
COMES,
and STANDS
for you
all the time!
But
you only
open your door
to Him
when you C.A.M.E.
Stop saying,
At least I C.A.M.E.
come share your talents
with the community
and be fulfilled.
Don’t give the least
of yourself
give all
of yourself.
