Black Water

Ebony flowing droplets all around me. Can’t see to the never-ending bottom. I’m shaking, lips are blue. I’m surrounded by the blackness.
There’s no way out. Something pulls me down. I’m underwater. I’m in the darkness. There’s no escape. Please help me.
No air, I flail but can’t break free. Oh God! I’m drowning in this onyx sea of despair. I’m still being pulled down—until I am suffering no longer.
