My Body Is Like A Roller Coaster
Somedays I awake feeling-
Energetic,
Brave,
Strong,
Full of life
Somedays I feel like another person-
Weak,
Fatigue,
Scared,
Fragile
Every time I feel numb,
Like I’m floating
And gravity doesn’t exist
I feel my nerves and muscles
Fighting each other like
A thunderstorm
brewing inside my limbs
I feel my spine
Being squeezed
Like a boa
Wrapped around my body
The pain is so strong sometimes
That I feel like
Screaming into a pillow
Crying until my body
Runs out of tears
And
Asking God why me?
I have my good and bad days,
but
I am strong,
Brave,
And no matter how awful I feel,
I will never
Never
Never
Give up.
All I have to do
Is stare into
My father’s eyes
And my hope rises
Out of the darkness.
