Darkness: A Poem
This is a poem for my upcoming Thriller Battered Mind.
Darkness — Surrounds my soul and I am lost again, as he begins to strike me,
I try to get away but he is just too strong…
he will not stop until he has completely torn every part of me.
A voice cries out in the night, for someone somewhere to hear its plea!
As the the sound of the wind begins to fade, there you are ready to comfort me,
ready to listen, ready to just set me free.
All the lies he has told, all the lies he has made others to believe.
However, I know of his injustice and how he has fooled everyone else.
No!!!
All is a lie – a lie! I can hear myself screaming in the night to be let out of
this poison hell that I call a life…..
He is after me, he is out to destroy me!
