Darkness

In the darkness, I reach for light.
Falling under the sea of black-
Not a single star in sight.
Suffocating in the night-
Blanketed under a sky of velvet
Tucked in too tight
running against a stream of darkness
Unable to grasp reality
or open my eyes to see
the darkness in front of me.
