Even After the Waking
Dreams extend
even after the waking,
leaving the mind
twisting thoughts.
Exhaustion flows
even after the waking,
gluing the head
to the pillow tight.
Demons chase me
even after the waking,
from the mind’s inner eye
to just outside sight.
