Forgotten

Sorry my child,
The world has
Forgotten again.
Forgotten love,
Forgotten peace…
Forgotten that we all
Must eventually answer
Life’s ultimate call.
Life is too short,
To feed the hate,
To feed the abject misery.
My child remember
War serves no one,
As the rest of the world
Has once again
Forgotten.
