Fall is finally here, and what better way to end a crisp fall night then to curl up in a blanket and watch a scary movie with your significant other, friend, or if you’re brave enough…yourself! Here are five horror movies that will make you want to Scream!

  • The Conjuring (2013)

This one is about a couple who investigates the paranormal. Elizabeth Warren is plagued by her past investigations as she moves forward with trying to help a family rid the demons from their new home. This movie also features the doll, Annabelle who appears in her own movie (Annabelle, 2014).

  • Annabelle (2014)

Anabelle begins with a woman preparing her nursery with vintage dolls. An unexpected event happens and blood drips onto the Annabelle doll, causing all hell to break loose with anyone who encounters the doll.

  • A Nightmare On Elm Street (1984)

This classic horror film is about a man named Freddy Krueger who wields knives on his hands and has the ability to creep into our dreams until he can successfully kill you in them. One of Freddy’s victims becomes sleep deprived and begins delving deeper into the history of Freddy Kreuger until she unveils some dark secrets about her past. Will she end up being another victim to this horrifying serial killer or will she defeat him?

  • Halloween (2018)

Michael Myers has been killing since he was just a young boy. Escaping mental health facilities and killing people in his hometown has become a ritual for Michael, and it seems as though nothing can stop him. Survivor, Laurie Strode now lives in fear that Michael will return back to kill her and has spent her life preparing for the moment he comes after her. Her family has ever-growing concerns about her lifestyle until Laurie’s biggest fear comes to life and Michael comes back. Will her lifetime spent preparing be enough to stop this supernatural serial killer from ending her life once and for all?

  • Scream (1996)

Receiving phone calls from an anonymous person is a common situation in today’s world. But what if you kept receiving strange phone calls from someone who was threatening your life? This is the plot behind this movie, and as people begin to die, everyone wonders who is behind the mask, “GhostFace”.

Scary stories and movies have been shocking thrill-enthusiasts for years and scaring others for life. Have you seen any horror movies that left you feeling anxious or scared to sleep? These are just a few great movies that will leave you sleeping with the lights on!
