I Said Yes,
To loving myself first,
And creating healthy boundaries.
I said, “yes” to making mistakes in the name of growth.
And, I said “no” to low vibrations in the form of people,
places and projects that do not align with my core values.
I swear to wear this ring as a symbol
of the union between my higher self and me.
Forsaking all others, even death couldn’t make us part.
And maybe, one day, when things are close to right,
I promise to compromise.
I promise to remove this ring and replace it with another.
But only in the presence of a Godly man.
Until then, I can wait for myself.
I’m worth it.
