Leo Season Begins – Here’s What’s Ahead For The Rest Of July

Today, July 22nd, the Sun enters flamboyant, playful Leo. Finally, we have a little bit of a break from the retro season! Even though Leo is a fixed sign and can be quite stubborn, they’re also fun and entertaining.

This is the season for play, for creativity, for bringing some spice and flair to your summer activities. It’s party-going season, folks, so get out there and have some great times with loved ones!

On the 24th, Mercury will conjunct Venus. This will bring us a little relief from the retrograde. When the planet of communication gets together with the planet of love and luxury, it’s all about social graces and charm! Our minds will be brilliantly analytic and poetic at the same time, causing our communication to be sophisticated, intellectual, and sensual.

It’s the perfect time to tell someone you love them or express your emotions through sentimental gifts or actions. Artistic and creative skills will also be amplified during this time.

The 25th will bring us a healthy dose of ambition and luck with Mars trining Jupiter. This will be a great day to fall in love with the feeling of being alive and showcase our strengths and vitalities. This is the time to start something you want to achieve; anything you start now will most likely succeed.

On the 28th, the Sun will trine Chiron, the “wounded healer.” The theme here is one of positivity and compassion. A “sunny” disposition will get you far and may even go a long way towards helping someone else.

You never know just how much of an impact you have on someone else. Your smile and act of compassion could very well be what heals someone.

The 29th brings with it some restless and anxious energy. There is a sense of impending drama and chaos when the Sun squares Uranus. Today is not the day to take on superiors, even if they are in the wrong. It’s also not the day for experiments or tinkering, as Uranus rules science and invention.

You may find that arguments lead to consequences you aren’t prepared to handle. Unexpected outbursts and abrupt changes in behavior can occur from you and other people.

The best way to handle this is to find a way to release all of this restless energy and to be proactive about positive change. Go to the gym and work out all that tension. If there is tension in your relationship, be sure to remain as flexible as possible. Otherwise, you could be facing an unwelcome and very abrupt departure.

The 31st comes with a beautifully romantic New Moon in Leo. This is a time for a candle-lit dinner with your favorite person. The overall feeling will be playful, sensual, gentle, and social. A little stubbornness may be present and compromises will be difficult but what we will really be focusing on is our relationship and that special someone.

Love and our pursuit of it will be our main concern. This is a time for healing past relationship wounds, placing healthy, personal boundaries, and respecting each other’s individualism within the partnership.

You will find that her articles cover topics ranging from environmental awareness, feminism, educational reform, and inspirational messages intended to help others live more authentic, joy-filled lives.
