Thank You, A Poem For Our Military Men And Women
Defending our country,
That is what you do.
Never expecting anything,
But to serve with dignity and truth.
You are brave and you are strong,
Courageous even when it is dark.
But you choose to prevail,
To give our country hope, even in times of despair.
You protect and give so much of your time,
And you sacrifice by being away from your family and many times with your own life.
I just wanted to say thank you for all you do,
I know they are only words, but I send them from the heart to you.
To all the brave men and women all over our world,
And I want to shout it out, to you I am grateful.
Just so grateful for defending our country and flag,
Even as the times get harder and you may not know who to trust.
You stand strong above all showing us to trust in God Above.
I just wanted to say, Thank you.
