Pretending To Write Haiku: Tales Of Weather

Hanging out. Wild
billowy sentences,
Friday night in August.
***
By the moonlight,
she is smashing sentences
with a pen.
***
Late June, cold
words quiver
across the page.
***
The stars disappear,
it is too dark to write
too cold—inhibiting.
***
Hazy summer day,
reading, sipping tea beneath
low hanging clouds.
***
She reads, following
along dark empty streets.
Stops when it thunders.
***
Early morning rain,
reading, birds singing—
distracted.
***
Manuscript scatters
in every direction
walking in the rain.
A wonderful collection of haiku Jo .. I’m not sure why, but I especially like the last one …

Thank you Ivor 🙂
Jo again beautifully surprised reader. Under the current world situations, I hope more people will appreciate the undulating energy from within, such as these. Each life is so precious.
The capturing collage, and poems succeeded in very original forms. Clever to place one highlighting word in each poem and seasonal or time indication. Amazing work, Jo!
