Remember Our Humanity

Today the news is awash again

with man killing men,

for no reason other than

a different color of skin.

Sisters and brothers beaten,

we have forgotten peace again.

We have forgot about reaching out

With love and hope,

to be a part of society.

We have forgot about

the similarity,

and the frailty

of humanity.

Hug your brother,

Your sister,

For to heal the wound

created by ignorance.
