Strong As Stone
Rigid in my bones,
not a moment alone.
Strong as stone,
crumbling down.
I am not allowed to feel pain,
for if I do it will start again.
So like a statue,
my pain I hide,
letting the stone I am made of
crumble on the inside.
Hollow, carved from rivers of tears,
hiding from mountains of fears.
Standing still like I must,
enduring the crushing weight of the dust.
