The Realities Of The Virus
I know you are scared,
so am I,
I don’t want to catch the virus
lose anyone I love or
my means of survival,
We need to turn to God,
our family and friends,
we need to be there for
one another.
Please stay safe,
wear the face masks,
stay six-feet apart,
no matter how much it hurts
not to see our loved ones,
It’s for our protection,
too many people have to suffer,
losses and sickness.
There’s too much darkness
in the world,
and my heart can’t take it.
Please, God, place your
hands-on the ones who
need you the most.
I know you will help
us get through
this dark period.
Pretty soon the darkness
will turn into a bright light
and families will be
sitting at the dinner table
once again.
