A Bird of the Sun

If you look up toward the sun,
you’ll see I’m not the only one
enjoying the sky’s transcending ski run.
Not on the grounds’ overcrowded bull run,
but up here, where the air is undone
and freely homespun
by the sun’s aerodynamic blowgun.
Perhaps this is where my life began —
flying among
embryonic electrons by the megaton.
