Creating a New Life

What can make a life worth celebrating?
Is it measured in material things-
Like houses and diamonds, or cars and rings,
Or shiny trinkets more captivating?
I’ve spent many hours concentrating
On how to assemble the wealth of kings
With mountains of cash and bright golden strings
But I lost the freedom of creating.
It’s time to cast off society’s yoke
And live my life without expectations!
Pouring my heart into every pen stroke
To challenge ideas- shake the foundations
And wielding my words to further invoke
A life worthy of new generations!
