New Horror Writer

Hello Readers! I’m your local spooky content creator. I love horror and true crime. An unsolved murder from the 1940s inspired my pen name. The media nicknamed the victim Black Dahlia because she was a beautiful brunette. The poor girl was dismembered, and her killer was never found.
I will make it my business to bring you a biweekly dose of the macabre. All things terrifying are my passion. My goal is to get everyone to sleep with the light on after reading one of my pieces. I love the feeling of shivers down my spine. It’s the best thrill in the world.
One story my mom likes to tell about me is that when I was three years old, we were playing on the floor, pretending to be cats. I asked her what her kitty’s name was, and she said that her name was Fluffy. I told her she should be Kitty Menendez. In the early 1990s, Kitty’s two sons, Eric and Lyle, murdered her and her husband. I was already consuming true crime shows with my mom at age three.
The darkest side of life has fascinated me ever since I was a kid. My dad and my uncle would stay up late watching scary movies and eating snacks. I would often join, happily munching on my Dunkaroos, and witness people get torn apart. I always imagined that my Barbie dolls were vampires.
As I grew up, I listened to true crime podcasts almost every time I went to sleep. It’s so much fun to enjoy scary stories in a pitch-black room. I love hearing bumps in absolute darkness.
Most kids want to go to Disney World, but not me. At seven years old, my mom asked me where my ideal vacation spot would be. She said I could pick anywhere on the East Coast, and I chose Salem. I wanted to explore Salem because I had been watching documentaries about the witch trials. I was so excited to visit the museum that conducted mock trials and executions. On that same trip, my dad and my uncle took me to several different Halloween haunted houses. I loved them.
When I was older, things got weirder. Most kids have crushes on musicians or actors. I had sexy daydreams about the Night Stalker, a serial killer who was active in the 1980s.
My favorite serial killer is Elizabeth Bathory, better known as The Blood Countess. Bathory was accused of killing over six hundred virgins and bathing in their blood. Crazy, right? I hope to write a piece on her during my time here. I’m excited to go on this journey into the darkness!
The dark side of life is so beautiful and mysterious. I’m overjoyed to start this adventure into a world of blood and guts with all of you!
Stay spooky. Follow me for your bi-weekly dose of blood-chilling content.
