The Little Wattlebird
Darts backwards and forwards
Between the flowering branches
And the pollen avalanches

Fluttering from tree to tree
Like a busy honeybee
They are much too swift for me
and my photos stay blurry

Then yesterday, among the trees
Quietly squatting on my knees
I finally photographed the little birdie
