Lady Justice Broken: An Empowering Poem

I am the nothingness

I am the forever

I am the angel

with scabbed wings.

I am the torment

I bring down my sword

of poisonous disease

Sharpened to the hilt

There is no justice in believing

My dark day shall come

I will rise from the abyss of dark shadows

I will forever reign

All will know the swiftness of justice

of my retribution

My rule shall bring forth

a new meaning to

Chaos

For I am the angel

With scabbed wings

I am the nothing

the forever

torment.

  • There is a light background and two women standing back to back, holding signs that say "I am strong" and "Yes Girl Can" as they are chanting about the power they hold as women. One is also holding a megaphone as they are chanting.

What a lovely and lyrical piece, Ivor. Your words would make a great song.
