dawn breaking through a night sky

I don’t know what to do.
I don’t know what to say.
Everything around me is grey.
The dawn is coming,
From what I heard.
How long will it take…
How long will it take?
I suppose a lifetime of heartache…
I’m tired.
I’m wired.
I need to quiet my mind,
But my solitude is so divine.
What do you want from me?
There is nothing to say.
There is nothing to do.
Stuck in my head,
I’d rather be dead.
The night continues…
Sweet sleep overcomes.
The stress of today
Is washing away.
A new day will soon dawn.
