Superstition and Voodoo,
Could not describe your hold,
Your power over me.

Among the dancing lights,
The hum of music,
Ringing in my ears.

One glance,
I’m under your spell,
Ready to follow you into the dark.

The dark and depths of your soul,
The angels and demons,
Everything about you.

No one could entrance me,
No one could pull me in,
No one could ever know the magic.

That is between you and me.

No one could ever understand,
What we have,
A secret unable to comprehend.

A conspiracy partaken,
That I never will walk away,
As I am by your side.

It is our religion,
It is our sin
It is our everything.

Oh, God, help us both!

As we take in all of us,
Further in time, you and I,
Into the unknown.
