What do you see?
Upon my lonely
Face streaked
With tears

A victim?
A believer?
Despite
The pain

A survivor?
A villain?
Despite
Tragedy

What do you see?
When I walk
Among us
Humans

A hero?
A saint?
Despite
Horrors

Strong?
Weak?
In sight
Of all

Opinions
Labels
Pinned
Upon me

A woman
Crying out
Fellow men
Labeled toxic

A writer
Trying to
Write and
Believe

What do you think?
Glancing upon
A lonely soul
In society

Among labels
Stereotypes
Judgment
Racism

Among opinions
Dividing
One from
Another

Mental illness
Disabilities
Easily seen
Yet ignored

Politics
Religion
Misused
In hate

What do you think?
Glancing upon
My pitiful
Broken self

Am I human?
Worth living
Despite labels
Others see

Or savage?
Meant to
Be killed
Then live

Censored
Cut off
Among all
Humanity
