Why I Cry

I cry because I am glad
or don’t like what I’ve had

Mommy said
it’s because I want my own way
but is that so bad a few times a day

I cry because I am sad
or perhaps because I am mad

Daddy said
it’s because I don’t want
to listen to a word he says

But I say otherwise
because only I know why I cry

Sea breeze clears my mind as the waves washes the tension away. Belize my native land that breathes creativity and uniqueness with every ray of sunshine. Written words my way of standing up and speaking out.

Sometimes crying is like a good purge, something needed to clean out the system then we can get on with our day.
