	They’re out there
 Searched for but invisible
Recognized by a single glance
Then lost forever after
Disappearing in a swift
cover of darkness
The eggs holding light
And lives hidden within
Shells of fragile substance
And painted bodies as
Stained-glass windows
To make even the most
Pious cathedral envious
The Easter eggs thrive
Alone in solitude
Never lonely, never needy
Retaining the same souls
But different projections
Some vibrant, others subtle
Yet no one is called
Shallow, they are always
Authentic
Their brightness shines through
With no audience
To applaud or judge them
They live by their own merits
Dreams and goals
Guarding their secrets
They hold inside themselves
And letting their true forms
Take shape every year
In the time of rebirth
And infinite renewal!
