Bread of Life
The sugary sweetness
The bitter yet necessary salt
Blending with unique flour
Intoxicating yeast
Fills the air
Water combines
Molded by the power
Of unseen hands
To flatten the pride
For true strength to rise
Placed in the oven
Warmness overflows
Preparing the body
For the harshness outside
With a crusty skin
Yet holding dear
To the softness within
As a guide
For its existence
Until darkness
Opens it’s mouth
To finally take a bite
In the end.
