Perils of Gaming
In worlds of wonder, they lose their way,
The young and old alike, they play and play.
But in this realm of endless delight,
The dangers of gaming lurk in the night.
The bright screens glow, a siren’s call,
As children lose themselves in digital sprawl.
Their eyes grow weary, their minds afire,
As they play for hours, their lives expire.
Their bodies wither, their souls grow weak,
As they neglect the world and all they seek.
The real world fades, as the game takes hold,
And they lose themselves, in a world untold.
Parents beware, of the dangers ahead,
As children lose themselves, in a world of dread.
Gaming can be a wondrous place,
But in excess, it can be a dangerous race.
So heed this warning, and guide them right,
As they explore this world, in day or night.
Balance is key, in all that we do,
And gaming, like all things, must be used anew.
