Solemn Stance

Forbidden fruit
Forgotten past
Long hand moving
Time heal fast

Born of sin
Expected truth
This righteous path
Shift or move

Slight of conscious
Human nature
Will to live
Hence; nothing greater

Carry burden
Throughout our days
When pure emotion
Alters fate

Toward the heavens
Some will seek
Observing angels
Pray for we..

Forbidden passion
Squandered youth
Material seeking
Casual; doom

Pleasure purpose
Hollow myth
Submissive mind
Eternal rift

Searching knowledge
Within our pain
A wayward forward
Promised shame

Time to share
A solemn stance
For all above
The mortal plan

The leaf of life
Branch of hope
For in thy self
Find kindest roads
