The image is of a yellow full moon in a clear night sky

Last night, the moon sang me a love song
A serenade from the night wanderer is never wrong
In the morning, a warmth arose from the ground
That hovered above the dawn without a sound

Everywhere I walked, the borrowed moon rays
Glided nonchalantly through the haze
And covered the world in a golden shroud
As nature stood there, bountiful and proud

I witnessed tree-house sanctuaries
Become homes for mystical faeries
And I saw burnt-out hollow logs
Turn into comfy beds for bugs and frogs

And in the glowing leftover moonlight
Peaceful sunflowers welcomed the sight.
Yesterday, the mockingbird sang me a lullaby
And the full moon heard no lie or alibi
