A Christmas Poem

Glisten, glow, and shine.

A winter white snowfall.

A warm silver-white glow of a high moon hangs in the ink-black sky.

You and I covered by the warmth of a plush warm blanket.

glisten, glow, and shine just outside the window.

Glisten, glow, and shine.

A winter-white blanket of snow covers the world outside.

While we listen to Burl Ives, and Bing Crosby on the radio.

I imagine I’ll fall fast asleep, my head lay on top of your chest.

My only thought by this time next year, “this is by far the best Christmas yet!”

Ivor, the photo is perfectly paired with this poem, both reflecting the uncertainties of this era.

Beautiful said, and excellent rhyming, Ivor. Where do we land where there is peace and light?
