As you slowly showed me it was okay for me to open up to you.

I didn’t fear the free-fall anymore.

If I suffered bruises or breaks, I’d be okay with that.

I know you would be there to meet me at the bottom.

Of all the wishes I made as a child I knew the greatest one known as you would come true.

For the first time in my life I was free to be completely myself around someone I hardly knew.

without fear or judgment looming close by.

It’s with you I have learned that when it’s meant to be and true.

That all my ghosts of old worries can no longer hang above me, and haunt me-it’s not even a thought that skims across my mind like a stone that skips high on the water.

As we became more succinct with each passing day, I slowly began to realize you were becoming weaved into the rhythm of my heart’s beat.

As you know, I, the proud owner of my heart, but now my heart  and I are all yours.

Know that with everything that I have I will protect our love.

I will do my best to defend and protect it.

I am honored to say I know and love such great love as you.

I will spend the rest of my days showing you just how much this is true my love.
