Disconcerted

My entire being

is restive

Yet –

you offer nothing

that soothes me

My mind pleads

to be challenged

by your words

but I am met

with silence

My body starves

for passion

But –

your touch

is vacuous

My soul longs

for spiritual growth

But –

we are not

evenly yoked

I cannot ask

for more than

you can give

thus, my hunger

remains insatiable

Sea breeze clears my mind as the waves washes the tension away. Belize my native land that breathes creativity and uniqueness with every ray of sunshine. Written words my way of standing up and speaking out.
