A Million Ways to Lose a Friend

Hell and back
Good and bad
How Friendship
Is meant to endure

In spite of hurt and pain
In spite of many a fight
A true friend is there
Forever and always

That’s what I believe
To be the definition
An example how far
Friendship can go

A believer out of me
Of true friendship
I became in spite
Of many a trial

How does friendship
Last for centuries
If you are the only one
Alone in the cold?
