Life is not created
within cookie-cutter
boundaries.

There is no
clear-cut way to
eternal happiness.

For I am only human
undefined by a category
or any identity.

I am more than a name,
religion, or race.
I am me.

You call me weak,
when I’m empowered
by inner strength.

You say I’m stupid
when I know and
recognize my weaknesses.

You call me sensitive
when I’m not stonefaced
or ignorant.

Call me anything
to your heart’s
deep desire.

For I’m human,
more than a name
or category.

I am beyond
what society
would deem me.
