Coffee House Writers’ Poetry Editors are our dedicated poets who have exhibited proficient knowledge and skill in the art of poetry, editing, communication, compassion, and navigating our platform. Each Poetry Editor can be assigned up to 15 of our poets to manage and assist with their remote publishing journey while at Coffee House Writers while providing priceless feedback and suggestion on all work submitted to us. They assist our poets in a mentorship, helping them better their poems as well as aiding in poetry contests and providing weekly challenges.

Kathlynne Stephens

Kathlynne Stephens, under the pseudonym “Scarlett Faye,” first joined Coffee House Writers as a writer in March of 2020. While occasionally submitting works of fiction, she primarily publishes poetry. Her strong aspiration to grow in her craft and desire to mentor others made her a strong candidate, which led to her promotion as lead poetry editor in June of 2022!

Kathlynne’s passions outside of poetry include cosplaying, being part of her church community, and spending time with loved ones. She currently holds a Bachelor’s degree in Creative Writing and English and plans on furthering her education by pursuing a Master’s degree in poetry at SNHU. Her listed works can be found at Coffee House Writers.

The worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt.
