Where is my wife Stacey?

February 1, 2023 at 9 a.m.

“Where is my wife Stacey?” asks John.

Answer: “Stacey is out shopping. You are spending the day with us.”

John: “Oh! Okay then. Where can I park myself?”

Answer: “Right here on this chair. We will be starting a fun program singing patriotic songs.”

John: “Oh! Okay.”

10:00 a.m. “Where is my wife Stacey?” asks John.

Answer: “Stacey has a busy day. She’s out shopping. You’re spending the day with us.”

John: “Oh! Shopping? My Stacey?”

Answer: “Yes.”

John: “Okay then. Where can I park myself?”

Answer: “Right here in this room will be great. We are starting the making of Mardi Gras masks. It will be fun coloring in purple, green, and gold.”

John: “Oh! Good.”

11 a.m. “Have you seen my wife Stacey?” asks John.

Answer: “Stacey is buying groceries at a store. She’s shopping. You’re spending the day with us.”

John: “Oh. Okay. Where can I park myself?”

Answer: “Right here is good John. We are starting sitting exercises in this room. It will be great to do some stretches.”

John: “Oh! Okay.”

Noon: “Where is my wife Stacey? asks John.

Answer: “Stacey is shopping. You’re with us until 4 p.m.”

John: “Oh. Okay…”

February 2, 2023, at 9 a.m.

John: “Where is my wife Stacey?”

Answer: “Stacey is at home today finishing some work. We are spending the day together.”

John: “Oh. Okay. Where can I park myself?”

Answer: “Right here is good John. We will start singing patriotic songs. It will be fun.”

John: “Okay.”

10:00 a.m. 

John: “Where is my wife Stacey?”

Answer: “Stacey is at home. She needs to finish up her work. You are spending the day with us.”

John: “Oh. Okay. Where can I park myself?”

Answer: “Right here John. We will play a dice game. It will be fun.”

John walks out of the room. He walks around the park of the memory care center and returns at about 11 am.

11:00 a.m. 

John: “Where is my wife Stacey?”

Answer: “Stacey is finishing work at home. You are spending the day with us.”

John: “Oh. Okay. Where can I park myself?”

Answer: “Right here is good John. We are playing rock & roll music and we will dance.”

Caretakers turn on jazz music from the ’50s.

Noon:

John: “Where is my wife Stacey?”
