Oh, dear mankind,
those that dwell
among the created
earthly dwelling.

Take heart and
never forget
the struggles
that brought you here.

You survived the
worst among
many turmoil
and tribulations.

Gods have destroyed you,
Kings have enslaved you,
Storms have taken your homes,
and even kin have betrayed you.

Your blood has been spilled
countless times to break
your spirit in sorrow
and grief-stricken anger.

If love endures
within your hearts
that deities envy,
mankind will last.

Your legacy will live on
that no one can
ever distort or
steal from you.
