Two hearts, one red and one white, joined together like a puzzle piece

I want so much to not want you,
Yet with every breath, you flood my mind anew

I try to shake these thoughts away,
But in that effort, I only find I miss you more each day

Fingers locked, I drift softly in your touch,
Yet I hold back, afraid to fall too much

Your kisses, sweet and full of heat,
Lift me gently, but I won’t let them sweep me off my feet

I daydream of you, lost for hours,
Your image stirs desires I can’t keep from my heart’s towers

Your touch lingers, waking every sense,
And your scent intoxicates me, leaving me defenseless

With every sigh, I ache in blissful strife,
For I long so deeply not to want you in my life

Sea breeze clears my mind as the waves washes the tension away. Belize my native land that breathes creativity and uniqueness with every ray of sunshine. Written words my way of standing up and speaking out.
