My God, my King, You provide comfort and rest in Your presence.
You wipe tears from their eyes, as You shelter Your
children under Your wings.

You comfort the broken and lonely souls,
capturing each tear within Your hands.
In every storm and weathered trial, You
never leave our side. In the lions’ den
and fiery furnace, You embolden those
whose trust rests in You. You prove Your sovereignty
over every creation, without rival or equal.

Though I am lowly, quiet, and meek,
You use me for Your purposes. You draw all those who are
weary and heavy-laden into Your embrace, promising
rest to those who seek it.

In every trial life throws in our path, ultimately
You conquer them all, for it is not
mine own will but Yours be done.
