Fall changes something inside
My heart feels more prominent
My stomach is warm
The feeling of happiness flows freeWatching the leaves
On the trees change colors
Green to red, orange to brown
Feel of the holidays in the air

Pumpkin spice flavors
Blatant and bold
Apple pie, cinnamon, nutmeg
All spices screaming out loudSweet treats and families
Stories untold
Spices so fragrant
Hugging the soul

Shifting of seasons
Blessings a new
Gatherings and flavorings
Tried and truePumpkin Spice Latte, Fall, Autumn, Pumpkin, Orange

Calpernia Charles

Sea breeze clears my mind as the waves washes the tension away. Belize my native land that breathes creativity and uniqueness with every ray of sunshine. Written words my way of standing up and speaking out.
