Summer is finally here!

Now it’s time to figure out what to do with your hair. You want it to look nice, but sometimes the heat, humidity, water, and sweat can take a toll on your style. Below are some simple but effective hairstyles to try out this summer season.

Beach Waves

This classic hairstyle has been around for years. You can wash your hair and spritz some sea salt spray in it while you let it air dry. You can also spray dry shampoo in your hair and run your fingers through your hair to achieve the beach waves look.

Edgy Ponytail

For this style, you can part your hair down the middle or off to one side, smooth all the hair down and pull it back into a lower ponytail. The key is making sure all the flyaways are smoothed down, and it looks on point, and when you get to the back, it’s all of your hair just pulled back.

High Ponytail

This style is also a simple but iconic style for summer. You gather all the hair and pull it up onto the top of your head, so your hair flows like a fountain.

Pixie Cut

If you are looking for a shorter style, this is a great, classic cut for summer or really for any time of the year. You can wake up and just run your fingers through your hair or wash it and go.

The Braided Pony

Pull your hair back and off to one side. Braid the hair on the back of your head, near your neck and put it in with the remaining hair in a ponytail.

Ballerina Bun/Messy Bunn

This is another classic look that will always be in style. For the ballerina bun, you pull all of your hair back into the middle to lower part of your head and wrap the hair into a bun. Make sure all the hair is smoothed down, and there are no pieces of hair that are sticking out. When wearing a messy bun, you pull your hair back and twist the hair into a bun. You can have pieces of hair sticking out of the bun, and it looks messy, but you still look put together.

French Braid

This style helps to keep the hair out of your face and keep you cooler on those hot summer days. Practice this braiding style, and you will be a pro in no time!

No matter what you decide on for your summer tresses just know that it’s summer and you look good!!!
