Although I’ve never been there,
it feels like a memory I lived.
Maybe in another lifetime,
I strolled in the shadows of the lights,
because the skylines and avenues
I’ve never walked through
are whispering my name.
Amongst the crowds,
amidst the noise and chaos,
pulses through the pavement
radiate my heartbeat.
New York is calling me home.
