O glorious sun
O GLORIOUS SUN
My skin feels cool,
but it misses your warmth.
Branches sway,
but still wish to revel in your heat.
Leaves flit about and sleep on the floor.
But every ounce within them, recalls how they filled spaces all the way to the top.
They almost kissed you, O dear Sun.
Since your season’s been gone,
Everything’s changed.
E-v-e-r-y-t-h-i-n-g.
Everything’s changing.
