Who needs to bring a knife to a gunfight, when all you have to do is leave your heart wide open?

Hand them the match, what will they do?

Will they let your heart go up in flames, and be consumed by the smoke inhalation, and turn to ash?

Or will they give your heart the freedom to be you, and let them love you, let them love you without ever skipping a beat.

This is the gamble we will all take in love.

Look before you leap doesn’t apply in the game called love.

You always leave logic and reason behind, you rather go all-in with your heart or not at all in the game of love.

You always go in blind some in the game of love, even with your eyes wide open the entire time, you’re always a little blind to the risk of heartbreak.

Who needs to bring a knife to a gunfight, when all you have to do is leave your heart wide open?

Will you get your heart back whole, or will you get it back in pieces?

Hand them the match, and wait to see if you’ll survive in the ashes, or burn on bright and completely whole all in the name of this game.
