person screaming

The soft feel of the wind starts to wake her up. Hadera could feel the blood trickling across her face. Hadera’s vision was blurry as she slowly started to lift her head. She was in the middle of a foggy forest, her cold hands bound to a metal chair.

She looked around in horror as she tried to figure out where she was. Her day started off with her going to work in the city, to now being tied up and bleeding in the middle of the forest. She did not remember much; everything was in a blur as she tried to recall what happened. She knew that the demon creature caught up to her, but she could not remember anything after that.

“Help!” She screamed in agony as she tried to wiggle her way out of the chair. “Help me!”

Her voice had an echo throughout the forest.  The fog made everything feel musky, but she could also smell death lingering in the air.

She tried to keep her heart steady and her hands from shaking too much. The sounds of the crow’s caws made her feel heavy with fear. The forest looked dry and dreary with the dead leaves on the ground. The feeling of the wind blowing across her face was the only thing keeping her still and calm. The feeling reminded her of her parent’s backyard when she used to play and jump near a willow tree. The wind would blow in such a way that it would bring her happiness and the feeling of love. She wished she could be in that happiness right now.

Tears started to stream down her face, mixing with the small amounts of blood on her face.

She started screaming in agony. How did she end up here? Why is she here? Why is this happening to her?

Just as she was sobbing in pain, a dark figure started to walk closer to her. Hadera violently withered in her cold seat. The dark figure resembled a man with black eyes and black claws as fingertips.

Hadera gave a curdling scream as the demon reached her and wrapped his fingers around her neck. He brought the terrified woman to meet his demonic face.

“Give me your soul…”
