We skate on icy rainbows
that shimmer between puffy clouds
sliding along the blades of golden rays
careful of the jagged shards.

Puffs of foggy shouts crystallize
as we fall into soft
blankets of sky snow
ready to soften the blow.

We play tag with shooting stars
and Double Dutch with
the Constellations,
our laughter rings through the Milky Way.

Then along comes Night
sweeping away the Sun,
making way for the silvery Moon
to take her rightful place.

And with her, we take a rest
within the Valley of Shadows
admiring the mysterious glow
of the faraway Earth.

While our eyelids flutter and shut
drifting further into the nightscape
a place where Dreams
really do come true.
