First Date

Two shy and lonely people met amidst the magic of the starry night. Love is enchanting, so it meandered through the lovers’ hearts. The attraction fluttered in every cell of their bodies. She knew he was the one; he would ask her to marry him. He couldn’t be without her. The first date brought delightful giddiness where flames ignited in their hearts and burned red in their cheeks.

Engagement

A year of laughter and spontaneity brought their souls closer than they ever could have imagined. Time flew through the universe with ease. She found comfort in his arms, and he found contentment in her eyes. That day began a journey of commitment. Two souls promised to entwine themselves forever – or until death, they did part.

First Anniversary

One precious year of matrimony passed through each day as a baby’s first breath. It was sweet, tender, and full of growth. The day marked a milestone – their first anniversary. He made her a paper rose, and she made him an origami star.

The death of her husband

Sometimes the roads traveled are dead ends, or chapters ripped from a novel. One year of marriage hardly seemed like a success. She claimed her victorious moment. In the case of love, victory is in the fleeting chance of ever experiencing its gifts. So, she sat under the moon alone – her sorrow melted into empty triumph.

After the sorrow

Youthful resilience found its place, and her wounds mended from each gold moon that passed. A new golden orb rose from the depths of tears, and love stood triumphant once again.

From a blue moon to a gold moon – the colors of enchantment.

The color blue represents both the sky and the sea and is associated with open spaces, freedom, intuition, imagination, inspiration, and sensitivity. Blue also represents meanings of depth, trust, loyalty, sincerity, wisdom, confidence, stability, faith, and intelligence.

Gold is a cousin to the color yellow and brown, and is associated with illumination, love, compassion, courage, passion, magic, and wisdom.
